Physiotherapy
If you are in pain from an injury or long term health condition we use physiotherapy techniques such as joint mobilisation and manipulation, soft tissue and myofascial release. We are trained in sports massage so will utilise this approach if it is best suited to you.
Pilates
Pilates is a series of gentle repetitive movements incorporating stretching and conditioning exercises which will help your body to function better and will help improve your overall posture, flexibility and core strength. Pilates works by building strength from the inside out, rebalancing posture and bringing the body into correct alignment.
Taping
At The Rowans Physiotherapy Practice, our clinicians are all trained in the application of traditional sports taping techniques, and the more recent kinesiology, or “K” Taping approach. The general aim of using tape is to reduce pain and swelling, and protecting the joint or area from further injury.
